According to the resolution of 1st Caucasian Conference of Transplantologists, held in Tbilisi (1999), Caucasian Group of Transplant Coordinators was established. In 2005 during the seminar held by the Council of Europe in Tbilisi, it was approved that the group be represented by: Prof. Gia Tomadze (Georgian Association of Transplantologists), Prof. Ashot Sarkisian (Medical Center "ARABKIR", Armenia) and Prof. Kamal ABDULLAYEV (Head, Azerbaijan Association of Transplantologists)
